The Santa Cruz SPCA is a private non-profit with limited space, we rescue our adoptable animals from other shelters that are at capacity.  If you are surrendering an animal, you need to contact the County Animal Services Authority.  If you wish to place the animal for adoption, and can keep it until a new family comes along, we offer a service to list adoptable animals from private parties.  Your posting will be active for 30 days, then deleted unless we are otherwise notified. Your contact information will never be given away or sold. If you choose email as the method of contact to be published in the ad, we use encryption to ensure privacy.
