The Santa Cruz SPCA Humane Education Department would like to encourage all teens looking for service learning ideas to consider working for animals.  There are over 6,000 animals that come into local shelters in Santa Cruz County every year.  These animals need help from all of the community and your voices and actions can make the difference.  We have quite a few ideas on projects involving animals that will also earn you community service hours.  For a full list of options download our Community Service Action Guide.  It is not only full of ideas it also lists alternate resources to check out.  So if you care about animals start helping them today!
